काठमाडाैँ । मैत्रीपूर्ण फुटबलका लागि भारत जान लागेको राष्ट्रिय महिला टोलीलाई आइतवार अखिल नेपाल फुटबल सङ्घ (एन्फा) ले बिदाइ गरेको छ ।
ललितपुरकाे एन्फा मुख्यालयमा आयोजित कार्यक्रममा मैत्रीपूर्ण खेलका लागि भारत जान लागेको टोलीलाई राष्ट्रिय खेलकुद परिषद्का सदस्य सचिव टंकलाल घिसिङ, महासचिव किरण राई लगायतले बिदाइ गरेका हुन् । २३ खेलाडीसहित ३० सदस्यीय नेपाली टोली सोमवार भारत प्रस्थान गर्नेछ । गोलरक्षक एञ्जिला तुम्बापो सुब्बाको नेतृत्वमा नेपालले भारतमा दुई वटा मैत्रीपूर्ण खेल खेल्नेछ ।
बिदाइपछि बोल्दै नेपाली टोलीका प्रशिक्षक अनन्तराज थापाले छोटो समयको तयारी भए पनि टोलीले सुखद नतिजा निकाल्ने बताए । दुई हप्ताको अभ्यासमा राम्रो टोली तयार भएको र साफमा भारतलाई हराएकोले खेलाडीमा मनोबल उच्च रहेको प्रशिक्षक थापाले बताउनुभयो । भारत दक्षिण एसियाको बलियो टोली भएको र भारतसँग खेल्दा खेलाडीलाई राम्रो अनुभव हुने भन्दै मैत्रीपूर्ण खेलमा आफ्नो लक्ष्य सुखद नतिजा रहेको प्रशिक्षक थापाले बताए ।
यस्तै कप्तान एञ्जिालले साफपछि हुन लागेको मैत्रीपूर्ण खेलमा सुखद नतिजालाई निरन्तरता दिने बताइन् । उनले आफ्नो टोलीको मनोबल उच्च रहेको र भारतलाई हराउँदै साफ उपाधि दिलाएपछि टोलीको स्तर पनि बढेको बताइन् । टोलीमा अनुभवी र नयाँ प्रतिभावान् खेलाडी समावेश भएको भन्दै राम्रो खेल हुने अपेक्षा कप्तान एञ्जिलाकाे छ । भारतसँगको मैत्रीपूर्ण खेल आउँदाे ओलम्पिकका लागि अनुभव सङ्गाल्ने अवसर भएको भन्दै मनोबल उच्च बनाउन जितेर आउने उनले बताइन् ।
पहिलो पटक राष्ट्रिय फुटबल टोलीको मुख्य प्रशिक्षक बनेका थापाले नेपाली महिला फुटबल टोलीलाई आधुनिक फुटबल खेलाउने तयारीमा छन् । एन्फाले मैत्रीपूर्ण खेललाई ओलम्पिक छनोट खेलमा अनुभव खेलको रूपमा हेरेको छ । नेपाली टोलीले भारतसँग चेन्नईमा फागुन ३ र ६ गते मैत्रीपूर्ण फुटबल खेल्ने तालिका छ ।

Kathmandu. The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has bid farewell to the national women’s team that is going to India for a friendly football match on Sunday.
National Sports Council member secretary Tanklal Ghising, general secretary Kiran Rai and others bid farewell to the team that was going to India for a friendly match in a program held at the ANFA headquarters in Lalitpur. A 30-member Nepali team with 23 players will leave for India on Monday. Under the leadership of goalkeeper Angela Tumbapo Subba, Nepal will play two friendly matches in India.
Speaking after the farewell, the coach of the Nepalese team, Anantaraj Thapa, said that despite the short preparation time, the team will get a good result. Coach Thapa said that a good team has been prepared in two weeks of practice and the morale of the players is high because they defeated India in SAFF. Coach Thapa said that India is a strong team in South Asia and playing against India will give the players a good experience.
Similarly, the captain Anjyal said that she will continue the good results in the friendly match to be held after SAFF. She said that the morale of her team is high and after winning the SAFF title by defeating India, the level of the team has also increased. Captain Angela is expecting a good match as the team includes experienced and new talented players. She said that the upcoming friendly match with India is an opportunity to gather experience for the Olympics and will win to raise morale.
Thapa, who became the head coach of the national football team for the first time, is preparing to play modern football for the Nepali women’s football team. ANFA sees the friendly match as an experience match in the Olympic qualifiers. The Nepali team is scheduled to play friendly football against India on February 3 and 6 in Chennai.
