काठमाडौं । मजदुर कुटिएको विरोधमा यातायात व्यवसायी आन्दोलित भएका छन् ।

नयाँ बसपार्क सञ्चालनको ठेक्का लिएको लोत्से कम्पनीका प्रबन्ध सुनिल कुँवरलगायतकाले मजदुरमाथि हातपात गरेकाले विरोधमा उत्रिएको नेपाल यातायात स्वतन्त्र मजदुर संगठनका अध्यक्ष भीमज्वाला राईले जानकारी दिए ।

‘सरकारलाई दिएको १५ दिने अल्टिमेटम र आन्दोलनको रणनीति तय गर्न बैठक बसिरहेको बेला कुँवरलगायतका केही व्यक्ति गुण्डागर्दी शैलीमा आएर हाम्रा साथीमाथि कुटपिट भएको छ’, राईले भने, संलग्नलाई कारबाही हुनुपर्छ । उहाँले माफी माग्नुपर्छ ।’

अहिले यातायात मजदुरहरूले गोंगबु, चक्रपथलगायतका क्षेत्रमा चक्काजाम गरेका छन् । यात्रुसहितका सार्वजनिक सवारी सडकमा तेर्स्याइएको छ । मजदुर संगठनको आन्दोलनमा यातायात व्यवसायीले पनि साथ दिएका छन् ।

Kathmandu. Transport businessmen have protested against the beating of workers.

Bhimjwala Rai, president of Nepal Transport Independent Workers’ Organization, informed that the protest was started because Sunil Kunwar, the manager of Lotse Company, who had taken the contract for the operation of the new bus park, assaulted the workers.

“While the meeting was being held to decide on the 15-day ultimatum given to the government and the strategy of the movement, some people including Kunwar came and assaulted our friends,” Rai said. Those involved should be punished. He should apologize.’

Now the transport workers have jammed the areas like Gongbu, Chakrapath etc. Public vehicles with passengers are parked on the road. Transport businessmen have also supported the movement of labor organizations.
